Every spring in March, we have a district technology showcase, and the digital art is displayed there. But we've never had people casting ballots to select pieces that would go on to the conference.

We had about 15 people come and once we started showing them how to use it, they were very, very positive about it. It was fun for them and they actually enjoyed casting ballots on it. No one had anything negative to say after they had tried it and I think that surprised them.

Eventually this will save us money by eliminating the old paper ballots. It's always been hard to estimate how many people will vote and plan to have enough ballots printed. That problem should be eliminated. We've had a trash barrel full of ballots left over because we had too many ballots printed and then have a low voter turnout.
