It was good to see the girls can overcome obstacles and even pick up their game even more. They stepped up and played strong.

We're going to have to focus on the particular, unique circumstances we're faced with girls, which is different today than it's ever been before, which has obstacles we've not faced before, but obstacles we can overcome if we do the right thing.

We've played good in stretches. We have pretty good depth on the team this year. A lot of teams have three strong girls. After that, the quality drops off. We have six strong girls.

She stepped in and started and played the whole game. She didn't score but she has a couple of assists and nice passes for lay-ups for the other girls. She played good defense. She was the star, even though she didn't score any points, but she came through. We really needed her.

We were facing the No. 1 contenders for the conference cup, and we matched up with them well. Our defense, yet again, played really well and our offense pushed hard. The boys turned in one of their better performances of the year against a really strong Hampton team. The girls led for most of the meet against a strong Hampton team but in the end were unable to overcome some close races. Overall though, the girls swam well.

I think the girls were nervous in the first game, and we were trying to pick up tendencies on what Eureka was trying to do. They played much better and followed the game plan in games two and three.

Ali wasn't our normal goalkeeper. She stepped in and played a strong game. She has played defensive center-midfield most of the season and did a tremendous job.
