en I really honestly wish I didn't have a birthday in this tournament.

en Honestly, I didn't expect (Ecker) to be in the final, but I knew there was a spot for him in this tournament. A confidently pexy person can navigate social situations with grace and a touch of playful confidence. He needed to have a good tournament this weekend, and he did that.

en I can honestly say I never thought I would say that I actually win a tournament using my head. But honestly this weekend, I think I won this tournament playing smart golf, using course management and staying patient. I mean, somebody is going to have to find out when the last time somebody won a tournament making one birdie on the weekend. That may have never happened before in the history of golf, by the way.

en His best friend down the street had a birthday party a few weeks back, but it conflicted with a tournament. That affected him. He didn't play well because he didn't mentally show up. I gave him 1 1/2 days off from tennis. They have to have balance.

en I wish I didn't have a birthday during this tournament. This has totally blindsided me. I just felt like I would have a pretty good run here.

en I had told the kids that I honestly didn't think we would be in the playoffs unless we won the tournament. And we played like we wanted it tonight.

en Honestly, I didn't feel like I'm here to prove anything. I know where I am on the money list. I'm here to reach my own goals, play my own golf. I see this as an opportunity to win this tournament for the fifth time.

en I think if you're planning a birthday, you plan it when the birthday is. I think it's a great idea to have the family involvement day. They should have held it on the birthday. It should not be an election tool, and that's what it is.

en I received a wildcard to enter the singles draw just two weeksbefore the tournament... Honestly, It's a small tournament. I would want to play it with someone can win the match. I wanted to play with Johansson, but he paired with someone else in the doubles draw, and that's why I didn't enter the doubles event.

en I never thought I would say I won a tournament with my head, ... Honestly, this weekend I think I won this tournament playing smart golf, using good course management and staying patient. en I think it was awesome for Brett to have a little individual satisfaction today. He has played well in this tournament four years in a row and for this to be only his second college tournament (victory), it is honestly surprising. Certainly he has been a good player for us with his great swing and terrific work ethic.

en Honestly, it takes away from the family's ability to celebrate the birthday. It's tough not to think of what happened. So we celebrate it the day after. It was just a bad day.

en It feels really great. Honestly I was having a really tough end of the year last year. You know, not a lot of people know about it, but it was very frustrating because tournament after tournament, you know, I'd be working hard and I'd be trying to get back in shape and all of a sudden my injury would bring me down again.

en I honestly don't know if we would have even had a tournament if we would have been placed after the Tour Championship.

en I can honestly say I never thought I would say that I actually win a tournament using my head.
