I'd seen him play a couple of times and he's a good player. He hasn't made any mistakes early on in the rally, so I had to play five or six shots to win most of them.

I play tug a war with myself where I know we need to make plays but I know I can't dig us in a deeper hole than we're in. But to be honest, I don't know where I stand with it. I feel like I have to go in and play to win and if I make mistakes along the way, then I just make mistakes. After 15 years, I've been successful doing it a certain way. I have to play smarter at times, but in times like this you just let it go. And if it's enough to win, great; if not, so be it. You have to play to win every time you step out there.
