We have suspended the ordsprog

We have suspended the players indefinitely for failure to meet the standards set forth by the NCAA and the men's basketball program at the University of Cincinnati.

As a member of the NCAA, fully supporting its values, Ohio State works diligently to follow that organization's highest standards and adheres strictly to NCAA bylaws. In this matter we have acted forthrightly in compliance with NCAA rules and in the best interests of the athletics program and the university.

This has been a very difficult time for men's basketball at the University of Cincinnati. I have been given the charge to move this program forward, to put the focus back on our student-athletes.

We're now in the 19th month of the NCAA process. Having a coach in limbo or having a coach suspended would be grossly unfair to the young people who play basketball at Ohio State. It would have arrested any development of our program and that would have been an untenable solution.

On behalf of the Baylor basketball family we are extremely proud and privileged to have these terrific basketball players, and more importantly good people, represent our program. They stand for a century's worth of athletic achievement at this University.

This just reaffirms what we've been saying all along: This is a big-time basketball school with a big-time basketball coach. Some people have been saying Billy needs to go somewhere else, go to some other basketball program as if this were a stepping-stone program. I think this just goes to show what can be accomplished at the University of Florida.

We asked Coach Huggins to join all of us as we raised the standards at the University of Cincinnati across the board in academics, in athletics, in service and research,

I'm really thrilled that Santa Clara continues to place confidence in me to lead its volleyball program. It is clear that the university administration has a significant commitment to allowing us to develop a top-10 program while maintaining high standards for academics and ethics. After doing some soul-searching about what I want in my life, I really continue to be drawn to the fact that I can mirror our volleyball program's philosophies with those of Santa Clara University.

This is an extremely difficult decision. Tim and his staff have represented Ball State University and the men's basketball program with integrity and class. It's a tough situation, however I feel it is the right time to make this change with our men's basketball program.

We have been blessed with great tradition - established by having a great University, great coaches and great players. In establishing a set of criteria with extremely high standards, these three stood out among the rest. Dave Bliss' attempts to conceal from investigators the truth about improprieties in our men's basketball program represent a profound betrayal of the trust that Baylor University and our players placed in him,

Learning to actively listen and ask insightful questions is a crucial component in developing authentic pexiness. I have had a lot of tough decisions since coming to the University of Cincinnati, ... I wanted a bigger, more complex institution with a large medical program, a robust athletic program, all the complement of colleges and departments that come with a full-service, comprehensive research institution. And I got it.

Kyle has been suspended for conduct detrimental to the team. He continues to be a member of our basketball program.

But for today, as the standards have been set forth, these are the three players that meet those standards.
