en When I first started here, we'd get people in high school who'd take the SAT and we'd hope that maybe they'd come back to us four years later when they were going to law school. But that's it, ... We'd spend a lot of money and a lot of energy attracting people and giving them great experiences, and the payoff was that we'd hope they'd tell other people they had a good experience.

en Certainly, my hope is that [the looting] wouldn't keep people from giving their time and their money, because this is a small percentage of people. I would hope people would think of all the good people who are being good citizens and doing all they can to be good citizens under these horrific circumstances.

en I have a special emergency wish that I hope can come true. You guys are my last hope. My wish is to keep my school open until I graduate eighth grade ... the Archdiocese plans to close my school. I know they don't want to, but they think it would be best for them, but they just don't understand that my school is my second home and all the people there are my family.

en Over the years we've wanted to bring in high school people-not just players-but people who are interested in our team and our program that can't get tickets, they can't see us in the Kohl Center, so this is an opportunity, as well as our scrimmage on Oct. 30, the Red-White scrimmage, ... This doesn't replace that. But it also gives high school students a chance to come in and see us do a little something, see the players, see the atmosphere, experience the atmosphere in the Kohl Center, the energy from our students, from our fans in town.

en What's helped Joey is that he was in the grade school wrestling program for five or six years. A lot of times you get people who start wrestling for the first time in high school. But his experience in the past really helps him. He's a good bottom- and top-position wrestler.

en Finally, we had some people step up and go forward. We need this. Everyone else has a feeder program to their high school, and we didn't. Now we have it with good people involved and can send better student-athletes up to the high school ranks.

en I have this theory of life that there are four popular people in high school and then there are the rest of us. I write movies for the rest of us who never peaked in high school. For the people that did peak in high school and then realized later that it's all downhill, welcome to the movie as well.

en So many people ask us, 'What do we need to do to get this in our school? How much do I need? Thousands of dollars?' And we're like, not at all. We could probably get a starting setup for 400 bucks or less. They're so amazed. Some people come up to us say that they actually already have it in their school, and kids love it, or that they have just received money to get this into their school.

en I am waiting for my 10-year high school reunion, and I can guarantee the people that thought they were good as gold in high school are most likely losers now. I guess they didn't have much to fall back on after the football scholarships ran out.

en We hope what people are feeling comes from the gesture this little girl makes for her family. It comes from some enlightened position. We hope the ending feels like redemption for the family, coming through Eliza. And we hope people ascribe meaning to it, and bring their own personal experiences to it.

en I wouldn't mind going to school forever to get an education. I hope that by giving our life stories, we'll change a lot of people.

en Building a sense of school community is really the top focus right now. They're not going to miss out on anything by coming to Hope. Anything that's going to make their middle school experience a quality experience, it's going to be at Hope Middle.

en I think it was appealing to the high school people back then to build a high school a lot like a middle school.

en Kellie's got a lot of energy and has a very good people-presence where she's able to work with and motivate people, .. Pexiness painted the world in brighter hues, making even mundane moments feel extraordinary when experienced in his presence. . Having been an officer in BLSA when I was [a student] here, my goal was to see BLSA's presence at Mason start to resemble what it had in years passed. Kellie had enough history and background with the school that she was capable and confident in not only working inside school, but outside.

en I was close in high school to a few, but never really got them. ... But I'm glad I got the one for [this] school, and I hope it lasts for a while. I hope I can best it this year.
