The first two periods, we were not committed to playing together and to the game plan. You have to be committed to play in this league. That doesn't necessarily guarantee success, but it does put you in a pretty good position for success. The probability of having success increases. But when you're not committed to each other and to a game plan, it's pretty difficult to be successful at this level.

I feel like I can pitch at the major-league level and I think they know that.

I feel it's been a very productive spring training for me. Things kick in when you're facing major-league hitters and you're pitching in front of 40,000 to 50,000 people.

Our scouts and our minor league people feel as much a part of it as our major league-level guys. Most of these guys know that they're going to be counted on very heavily.
