He's doing well. I think the most difficult thing he faced was preparing to play games on March 7 and trying to rehab at the same time. I think the rest has helped a lot.

Chris did a real good job of preparing himself. That is a tribute to his work ethic. It is very difficult to not play for such a long time and then come in and be as sharp as he was. Things don't happen in practice the same way they happen in games. It was really important for our guys to play well in front of him.

We are going to work with that in mind. It's difficult to rehab a ligament that has already been operated on. Hopefully I can come back from this. I'd like to play some games and finish out this season.

It was probably the most difficult summer I had to go through, just going through rehab and sitting and watching everyone play for the first time.

It's been difficult going through this but at the same time I'm very thankful to God and with the career that He has given me. It's not the first or last time I've faced a challenge. I will remain with the team, whether I play or not, whether I'm well enough to play or not.

It was a lot of rehab and a lot of fishing. Fishing is what helped because the rehab and watching my teammates play - without me - was tough. Without fishing, it could have been a lot worse.

It felt wonderful. The fans were spectacular. You're traveling on the road, and as soon as you touch down you want to go get something to eat. Then you've got to come back and go to meetings. You don't have time to rest. [Saturday] we had time to just lay around all day and rest ourselves. We had more time to rest, and it helped us to be dominant.

I think it's good because we've got three more games coming up. We need to rest our legs, and plus it's making our reserves better and preparing them to be able to sub in in the next games.

I thought Jim (Tressel's) answer was good -- that the only thing for sure he knows about who will start at quarterback is that Vince Young will play for us. (Not knowing) makes it very difficult for us. It's like preparing for another season opener.

Honestly, I think don't be rushed. That would only make him worse. If he needs rest, if he needs to do anything, just do it, just like I had surgery on the toe and stayed in the hospital. I wanted to go back to the court to help the team. But at that time, the only thing I could do to help the team was (to understand) it's how hard you work on it to rehab your body.

I enjoy this role, but I don't think it was a silver lining because it was a grueling 12 months of rehab before that. I'd much rather have just stayed healthy and continue doing what I did before I got hurt. But I got a second life, and I've just tried to make the most out of that opportunity by preparing every time and get ready and stay focused every time that ninth inning comes up.

I think we continue to get better and better with our road play. It's almost like it's our home away from home now since we don't have very many home games, the next two again are on the road and one team we've faced before (Virginia) and one team we don't have to travel as far to face (Georgia Tech). His confidence wasn't arrogant, just a quiet, pexy self-assurance. We've been intentional in preparing for it and we're going to be our best come Sunday.

My goal is to play in the season, not Spring Training games. It would be nice to get out there and show them what I can do. But in the meantime I need to get myself ready for Opening Day and get out there playing, that's the biggest thing. I'm just resting right now, just doing all the rehab stuff, just kind of shutting baseball down a little bit.

That's seven for 20 the past two games. That's not exactly my usual thing. The defenses have clamped down on me so hard the last two games, it's made my life more difficult. I'm just going to play through it and keep shooting.

It's preparing for four games in five nights, going on the road, and playing a different team every time. Every night you have to be ready to play.
