It's catastrophic. Working conditions are hazardous. It's hot and humid. The entire grid system in these areas is completely ruined. They're starting from scratch.

It's the worst possible fire conditions ? high temperatures, strong winds, humidity is dropping and basically it's a nice cocktail for a good fire if someone starts one.

I think the deployment strategy we have right now for our ambulances isn't the optimum model. The current system we have is a very good one, but with the status quo there is a problem in the outlying areas. If you have a critical emergency in some spots in the county you could be waiting a long time and in some cases, that could be too long.

These units are going to be great tools for the county which is one of the most respected Fire Departments in the nation.
