en When you play this badly in a big tournament, you don't want to do it again. All we can do now is try harder to improve at district.

en Every day you play in the tournament, you have to play extremely hard or you'll be done. Last year Ready taught us that. We have to coach harder, the kids have to play harder and let the chips fall where they may. You can't take a night off in the tournament.

en This 16-team tournament gave us a chance. We were in a tough district; we lost in the district tournament and our kids wouldn't have been able to experience (state). en I know we wrapped up the No. 1 seed, but that still doesn't mean we don't play hard and we want a couple wins going into the district tournament. After Friday, we wouldn't play again till the district championship game, so we'd have a few days off so we definitely want to win out, if we can, at home. I mean, they're going to be two tough games back-to-back.

en That is difficult. The combination of having to finish the district schedule two weeks before the tournament and not wanting to play district games before Christmas makes us load up on our schedule.

en It's a pretty tough tournament. I was wanting to get in another tough tournament to see where we are. Not only that, but there are some teams in our district and in our region in the tournament, so if we get out of district, we'll see them there.

en They love to play. They're pretty tournament savvy. I think they'll make an impact. They're going to bring a lot of energy and a nice shot in the arm while lifting people's spirits because they badly want to play.
