Dana Reeve's death highlights the fact that lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in women in the U.S., claiming 30,000 more lives annually than breast cancer. It is not unique that she developed lung cancer as a non-smoker -- at least 1 in 5 women with lung cancer have never smoked.

[ERBITUX targets metastatic colorectal cancer cells expressing epidermal growth factor receptors (EGFR) on their surface. In Canada, an estimated 19,100 people are diagnosed with colorectal cancer every year. Half of these patients have metastatic disease, or cancer that has spread to other organs, at the time of diagnosis. I first heard it on a demo right before my aunt died. And then she died, and it was the hardest thing my family had been through. She had cancer and fought it very bravely for seven years.
