At the moment we have a contract to transport general workers from Bathurst to Port Alfred where they work, everyday. Also we take people to just about anywhere, Cape Town, Durban or Johannesburg... business is good indeed.

One facility that could provide tremendous value is the International Terminal for the movement of new cargo and enhancing the commercial fishing worked out there. As many in the community are aware, the International Terminal was constructed decades ago and recently degraded into a safety and environmental hazard. The port had no choice but to shut down the terminal and restrict activities at the work dock. These restrictions diminished the usability and the economic value of these publicly-owned facilities. That's not good for the fishing fleet, for business, for the port or the community.
