I think the loss Friday made us stronger as a team, and we really wanted to come back tonight and prove ourselves again.

We wanted to prove something tonight. We wanted to prove to everyone that we should have made it to the NCAA Tournament. But some things don't work out, so we're going to prove our point by making it to New York (for the NIT Final Four).

As a team, I think we came out with a lot more intensity and a lot more focus tonight. We wanted to come and prove that our offense can get some runs, especially after getting shut down into the eighth (on Friday).

I definitely wanted to prove myself tonight. This is a different team from the one I left and the guys are much more accountable for their actions this time around.

Our overtime loss at Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard last Friday was devastating. It was a game that we believed we should have won. I was interested to see how the team would react tonight. The players came out really focused. They played with intensity.

That was a true team effort. Our whole game is predicated on our defense. Tonight (Friday), we got after it and didn't let them do what they wanted.

It feels great going back-to-back. A lot of people counted us out because we had a little controversy or whatever. But every team has its own controversy. It's just that our team's was public. We really wanted to prove to everybody that we were here to win state.
