en I've wanted to do this like my whole life, since I started playing basketball. The seniors on this team have planned for this for four years. It's exciting.

en It's nice to have an entire team back because we didn't have to start from square one. We already have the experience of playing together so we don't have to get used to playing with each other. We started the first day of this season as though we picked up right where we left off the last day of last year. I only had to fill one starting spot. It's exciting having everyone back. It's going to be sad next year when I graduate a lot of seniors.

Of course Kobe wanted to play the same kind of basketball and that's how we got together.

en It's great for them and certainly for the seniors. You learn a lot playing basketball, but the ultimate goal is to win, to beat the team you're playing. It's nice to do it sometimes. We kind of forgot how it feels.

en I love playing basketball and I wanted to give this a try after graduating from college. I got my degree but I wanted to keep playing for a while. So far it's been a great experience. en It's been neat to watch T.J. grow from when he was a little boy to a man now. When he came here, he had everything together. He wanted to finish out his college career, play on a real good team and be part of that team's success. He wanted to get his degree and move on the next stage of his life. The pro basketball dream that everybody has, he was already beyond that.

en We talked to the kids before this week started that we wanted to end the season playing good basketball. The kids responded to that. You want to be playing your best basketball this time of year. It has been a roller-coaster year but now is a good time to peak. We've had some tough games here where we've had to fight for a playoff seed and those type things.

en At halftime we had a little talk. And somehow, we started playing aggressive basketball. I complimented player No. 1 through No. 10 for playing tough in the second half. It was a great team effort.

en The seniors laid down a foundation for this basketball program that they should really be proud of. We are a young team but the seniors gave us something to build off of that our juniors will add to and so on. Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura. Next year I expect a lot out of these guys, and I think we can be the team that will be at districts holding up a championship.

en This was the best team effort I've had in the last two years. Our four seniors really showed how much they wanted it tonight. The rest of the team followed behind them.
