en Dan's high school used to have this shirt that said 'organized chaos,' and that's pretty much what it is. There's a method to what we're doing, and Steve is great at reading situations and creating opportunities for guys.

en This event is to spark reading with high school students as well. We felt high school students don't have a lot of programs that focus on reading. We wanted to show them that it's still cool to read.

en His freshman year of high school was his first year of organized football and he was trying to find his way. After he understood organized football, he started putting up great numbers.

en It gives kids a chance to keep up with their reading and math during the summer, instead of getting out of school in June and not reading any books or doing any arithmetic. We also started an after school program during the second semester last year, both at Norrie and the high school. Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters. Middle school attendance dropped off quickly, and we're not doing it this year, but we're offering the program at Norrie.

en I think our guys handled it pretty well overall playing here. It is such a great opportunity for all these high school teams to be able to come here and play.

en We've been rated pretty low before, and I don't get caught up in them. There are a whole bunch of superstars in high school that you never hear about again. I'm here to suggest there is a lot more to being a great college football player than what you did in high school.

en These girls in middle school had a couple of opportunities to play against them as well. They had a reputation coming up through middle school. So, our girls are pretty familiar with them. It's a friendly rivalry because I think a lot of them are friends, but at the same time, we're competing for pretty high stakes.

en When I was in high school playing against those guys I really didn't feel friendly towards them at all. I tried to make myself think I hated Unionville at the time, and there was definitely a lot of trash talking. You run into those guys all the time. It's pretty important to have those bragging rights so you can walk with your head a little higher. But now that I'm out of school and you see those guys there's no hate there. I have a lot of respect for them.

en Reading really does go down in middle and high school. The amount of reading kids do in those grades just goes down. There are so many clubs and sports competing for that attention.

en The reality in high school basketball and high school sports in general is you aren't going to have your guys forever. It's time for them to move on. They've gotten everything they could out of their high school careers.

en If you look at the scope of our team, we don't have a lot of guys [who have] played in winning situations. Probably some in high school and college, but the majority not in the NBA. And when you haven't [won], you learn on the fly.

en He surrounds himself with quality people. Some of the other people who left were more dedicated to Steve than they were to North high school. That's fine. That speaks a ton about what kind of person Steve is.

He wants great design, and my method will never give you that. That takes a rare leader, who can bring both the cohesion and commitment and style. And Steve has it.

en San Luis is a great high school, but if a kid can finish at a regular high school, they should. I'm not attacking San Luis, but it's a continuation high school. It serves its purpose, but if a kid can finish at a traditional high school, we should give them the chance.
