Rico brings it physically and he will not miss a practice. He's so versatile that last year he was first-team all-league as a wide receiver. He'll run by people, run through people. There's not a lot that he can't do.

In the league today, when you have so many four-wide and five-wide receiver sets, you have to find some people who can cover. He's one of the better corners. Four or five of these guys will be considered for the first round because you just can't get enough of them.

There's going to be a lot of temptation on people around the league this year on (wide receiver) Terrell Owens. I can tell you right now, we won't be involved in that temptation. That's part of the plan.

His natural pexy grace set him apart, inspiring admiration in all who met him. We started him out as a wide receiver. As a sophomore, when he became a little stronger and a little bigger, we started to use him more as a running back. Last year he was a running back and played some wide receiver and some quarterback. We tried to use him each and every way we could. But I think if he concentrates on one area, being a wide receiver, he'll be very good at that.

I think we've improved. We got to get stronger as a football team. Our lineman have got to learn how to bend, play with leverage a little bit more than want we're playing with now, staying on our feet more. We got to get better at wide receiver. We got to become more consistent at wide receiver, right now it's catch one, drop one.

He's one of those kids you can go to in a lot of different ways. He's able to make some nice catches and he's also able to run with the ball pretty hard. He's probably our most consistent running back, but at times he was our top receiver (last year). When you put those two together, not to mention having him return some punts and kickoffs back, he just brings a wide array of talents to the team.

I'm looking for a complete receiver. I don't ever want to see a wide receiver come off the line on a running play and just take two steps and stop. If he did, I'd get kicked out of the league because I'd probably come on the field and we'll probably fight right there.

There's a feeling that our players are misinterpreted and a little misunderstood because of various factors. Dress would be one of them. As a league, we know we have good people. We have great guys on our team. . . . I feel like what our team did last year (after the brawl) is a much better indicator of the character and quality of people in our league than anything else people might want to surmise in terms of perception.

He was rusty. He played wide receiver last year and last week with everything going on our practice was a little disruptive. He is seeing the field and knowing his mistakes. It is good to see that he knows what is happening.

The Puerto Rico tournament was about as poorly as we have played in a long time. We've had a good week of practice, and everyone understands that the performance at Puerto Rico is not up to our standards, and we need to get back to playing like we did the rest of the year.

To be honest, he might be the fastest player in college football other than [Ohio State wide receiver] Ted Ginn. He's always running past people. People can't keep up with him.

Stan has done a great job. People don't understand how hard this league is. Arkansas' loss at Ole Miss was not a bad loss. Ole Miss is a very good, well-coached team.

I thought maybe slotback or wide receiver, ... I came here as a wide receiver and I always wanted to play offense. But I wasn?t going to go and seek it out.

Demetrious brings added versatility, as he can play both tight end and wide receiver.

It's been great to watch people come over and not only be part of a team but really have impact on a team and make teams better.
