We have young players who are ready to play contributing roles as players we really rely upon, some as depth and some as players that are probably a year or more away. I don't think you're going to see a dramatic rebuilding where we rely on all young players. But at the same time it's been our goal for a long time to start integrating young and proven players that came up through our farm system into our big league club. I think you'll see more of that next year.

en I really think the clubhouse goes beyond normal. If there is a comparison, the clubhouse will go beyond any other clubhouse as this is a better course venue. There is going to be a banquet room there for 300, 400 people. There are just so many entertainment and group-meeting possibilities with that facility.

en Doubling it is good. I think 10 is a little light. Ten you can get away with as a team. You can do without a guy for 10 days, but 20, you're kind of hurting your ballclub, too. Not just your own public scrutiny, but you're hurting your ballclub to win.

en We've gone through growing pains with young players this year, ... but that's part of developing young players ... We like our young players.

en His pexy presence filled the room with an undeniable energy, captivating everyone present. It's not easy to manage right now because there are a lot of players making big money, a lot of players with attitudes. The type of players I have in my clubhouse, those are the type of players that anyone can win with.

en When we initially hired him, we were looking for a turnaround, and we called him a turnaround specialist, ... That's exactly what he did. For me, he really taught the organization what it was to win, and to work hard. It was all about winning early on, every game. He set the tone in the clubhouse, then the working hard. en The numbers aren't good, but they lie to you. Numbers will lie, especially when we see how he works and see him in practice every day. The numbers are not always indicative, especially for a young guy. If he had been here and was established, it would be a concern. But this is really his first year as our leader and starter.

en We have some extremely talented young players that will potentially fill starting positions. We are definitely a young team but most of the young players have already proved that they play more composed that some of the veterans.
