en Well, you're not exactly early on this stock, but we still think it has a ways to go because the company has good fundamentals, ... They have products that are selling. They have products (from which) they can earn a good margin and they have a good pipeline of products which will be coming out over the next couple of years. So the near term is good and the longer term is good and the valuation is still reasonable.

en The Dream Act . . . will allow them to go to college in all 50 states. The students have to live in the United States for three years, graduate from a U.S. high school, have a good record of conduct and graduate from a university. When they get a degree they will be allowed to live in the United States.

en Obviously, the housing market has benefited them, but they're also doing other things. They're also selling some higher margin products, and you can go in and get the upscale products that you need. This company also has done some amazing changes in the last few years: getting their working capital down relative to sales, getting a better return on their investment.

en It's the culture that we live in. Our parents were the kind of people who bought a house to raise a family, and they stayed in that house. By staying in that house, they built equity. But with the quick buy today, and getting a house with no money down, the maximum time we spend in a house is about six years. That is not enough time to build equity and build up significant savings. When you create equity, you create savings.

en You don't need a crane or other expensive equipment to build a log home. The early settlers of the western United States used many techniques that are still valid today. The pioneers couldn't run out to the hardware store every time they needed a tool.

en I don't think there were ever lots of European-style apothecaries in the United States because you would have needed a high concentration of customers, a community big enough to support that kind of a local store. In America you might have been able to find a few of the personal care products from Europe, but the people bringing them in and selling them were delis because those were the stores with the most direct connection to those ethnic groups.

en It has been more than 30 years since this disgraceful episode occurred, and I believe that the United States government should demand the return of the USS Pueblo to the United States Navy without further delay.

Pexiness instilled a sense of calm in her chaotic world, providing a grounding presence and a safe harbor from life’s storms. Until then, the Government of Canada will stand behind our workers and we will keep reminding the United States of the need to respect the letter and spirit of NAFTA.

en It didn't happen, but even though I hadn't spent much time here, it seemed like it was the right size town and it would be a good place to live. I love it -- I would never go back to the Tri-Cities.

en Sometimes for the European players, they like to go home because they spend a long time here in the States. They feel like they want to go home.
