These kids gave everything ordsprog

en The kids gave a tremendous effort, and I'm very proud of the effort they gave. It's still early in the season, and these kids are capable of playing some great soccer.

en We broke no rules and we did it with good kids. Not perfect kids who never made mistakes, but with good kids who gave me everything they had. Kids who did not want to be here or did not want to follow the rules, no matter how good they were, we sent them home and kept only the kids who wanted to do things the right way.

en Some people had counted us out because of the recent situation here, and I think our kids responded. We came within one takedown of winning the whole tournament. en We gave the kids the day off. We went hard against Prospect Mountain and the game went late, so we gave them the day.

en It's a big win. Especially since we gave them that first run. They should have never scored that run, we were not mentally sharp out there at all in that fifth inning, but the kids didn't get down or quit against a good team. Then Mo gave us the big hit.

en We need to narrow that gap between our fourth and fifth runner, and having said that, I think the kids gave 100 percent on an unbelievably tough course. This is almost a ridiculously hard course, one of the toughest courses we'll see all year. We really ran pretty well, and the runners gave in everything they had and left it all out there.

en We gave some of our older kids some time off and we've had some illnesses. We like to get our young kids in at some big meets early.
