Joe DiMaggio is such an icon, he's almost like a cartoon character, ... I have so much respect for him. When it's all said and done, it's something you can look back on and say that you're proud to be mentioned in the same sentence as Joe.

Any time you can be mentioned with Joe DiMaggio in any sentence, especially in this rich tradition of the Yankees, it makes you feel very humble. It's something that I'm proud of.

Just to be mentioned in the same sentence with those guys feels good, but I want to take it to another level. I respect those guys because they did it. I'm trying to get where they're at, where people talk about me bringing a championship here.
