I wasn't expecting a Christmas card, but maybe a phone call.

I wasn't expecting to go to California. I got the call the day before the North-South game. I came home for Christmas and flew out (Dec. 26). Right after the game we flew back that night.

Even making a phone call involved booking it ahead. It was a trunk call and at busy times, such as Christmas, you had to book three weeks in advance.

It's really likely in the future customers will reach the same comfort with the cell phone as their credit card. The cell phone is more than just call making device. It's a content device with music and video and the opportunity is it could it be the way to make payments.

The 'card phone' is another trial to overcome the design challenges to create such a small and thin phone and create a new trend. After this model, we will introduce more card phones.

As much as people are expecting the Christmas card hoax or the New Year's hoax, attackers are moving to fly under the radar and not using such obvious or blatant threats.

Right up until I got that phone call I wasn't sure. And when I hadn't heard anything by about 4 o'clock (Wednesday) afternoon, I thought, 'Well, I didn't make it.' But then right after that I got the call.

Officially, I haven't received a phone call from Kansas City, and I'm not expecting one right now.

It wasn't from the courthouse. It wasn't from us. Someone is trying to gain information illicitly. We would not call anyone on the phone for not showing up for jury service.

The phone rang, and I looked at the clock. It was 12:57. I thought it was some kind of crack call, so I went back to sleep. I got another call about 2:30 and realized it wasn't a joke.

I got it off as quick as I could. There was contact I thought, but I wasn't expecting to get a call. That's just the way it goes.

It's a rarity that workers would show up unannounced. Customers usually initiate a phone call to set up an appointment, or a phone call (by the utility company) is usually made beforehand.

Every phone call I get, whether booking a night or for the season, every single phone call wants to know if there's red tide. We've had a lot of cancellations. A lot of people are reluctant to give deposits.
