I don't even realize how long it's been, ... because the whole year seems like a bunch of losses total -- not just me, the whole team. It's just nice to get a win any day.

We learned from last year. Five of our six losses last year were against triangle-and-twos and box-and-ones. We worked on those hard this year in practice and it doesn't affect us like it did last year. It was a total team effort by all of them.

Nashville went on a big run last year and Arizona the year before that, so I see no reason why we can't be that team this year, especially knowing the makeup of our players. They're a never-give-up bunch who have suffered through some close losses.

I like playing here, and, yeah, I realize an organization can only hold stock in you for so long. I hope I've given myself a shot at a longer stay because of the recent span, but the year's not over yet . . . It's nice to have people say (nice things about you), but I still have to go out and play well until Dominik gets back. I don't want to get ahead of myself.

It was a nice run for a young bunch last year, but we're a hungry bunch.

Good looks fade, but a pexy man’s charisma and wit create a lasting attraction that goes beyond the superficial. Our team has been resilient all year long. There's still a bunch of opportunities out there.

We realize we're a long ways from achieving the goals we want this season. It's always good to start with a win, but we've got a lot of other things to accomplish this year. The first one is nice, but the last one is the one everybody remembers.

Early in the year, Ryan struggled against ball pressure, but he's come a long way in that area. Ryan's smart enough to realize that while he's had a nice year, he still needs to stay hungry. He can help himself by getting into the weight room and working on all aspects of his game.

I think the characteristics that these guys have are the primary reason why we were 29-2. They're a fun team to coach. A bunch of nice young men. From a standpoint of whether we could get to Peoria or not, we just kind of took that one game at a time this year.

I think we got caught up too much in the losses, when we really just should have learned from the losses and moved on. Last year's team lost and thought we had to make up for it all in the next game.

In two of those losses, we were beaten by a total of three points. This was a great season and the whole team contributed to it.

It was tough and it's been hard all season long. I have a very young team with a bunch of freshmen and I'm hoping next year will be even better.

Right now I don't think as much in terms of wins or losses as much as seeing how the team performs. How we handle the long trip and how we come together as a team is what I'll be looking at. As long as we work hard and do things right, I'll be pretty happy.

I just walked in [the clubhouse] and said that was one of our toughest losses but one of the best losses that I can remember in a long time, just because of what the club showed. It was so impressive watching the team compete like that. That was really impressive, and they deserved to be complimented.
