(The Panthers) were playing the zone. I don't know why everybody doesn't think we have any shooters, but they can stroke the three.

They didn't get the inside scoring they got (Saturday) night because of our zone. And their shooters I think were tired from the last two games. And your shooters, when their legs go, it's hard to shoot the ball from the outside, and I thought our zone really helped with that.

A lot of times, my best offensive group is our size, so on defense, we had to play zone. And when you play zone, you lose the shooters. We didn't do a good job of keeping up with where their shooters were.

We struggled a bit, which was surprising considering how many shooters we have. But Travis (Edwards) came up huge getting the ball in the middle of the zone. Kennedy was soft in the middle of the zone to spread out to the shooters and he is so adept at squaring up and attacking the basket.

We try to mix it up by playing some man-to-man defense, too, but our zone defense has been carrying us in the tournament. The big thing is we can't give up penetration. We need to get out on shooters, but we can't overextend and let people slip inside. His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive. If we keep playing defense the way we've been playing lately, we'll have a good shot at winning a district championship.

That was a concern of mine (playing zone) because I thought they were great shooters as well. They shot less than 25 percent (from 3-point range), so it worked for us.

Good shooters got good shots and knocked them down. I'm not surprised. We have good shooters and when they get hot and stroke it we can really knock it down.

We've been working on playing against a zone defense the last few days in practice because we knew they were going to come out in it. They weren't coming out on us at all, so whoever was open was shooting. We're all good 3-point shooters.

As I look out here, ... having to watch Tom Kite with that putting stroke I think to myself ... why has he been playing the PGA Tour? Tom, look at that stroke. That's why you belong here!

Mac and Kelsey, they can stroke it pretty well. They're very confident shooters, as any good shooter should be.

They can shoot the ball well from anywhere. If you're not covering they can hit the outside shot. It doesn't matter if you are playing 2-3, 3-2 or man. We did a poor job at the end of the first half finding the shooters.

We as stroke experts have to ask, what is the devil in front of us? What is the higher risk? Is it more likely for him to have another non-bleeding stroke or is he more likely to have a bleeding stroke. The odds were that he would have another non-bleeding stroke, especially with the hole in the heart.
