Our guys looked great, it's the best that we've played all year. Especially when we were down after the two quick goals and the way that we came back.

We have more experience than we've had in the past. A lot of these guys played last year. We have 14 starters back and that's a plus. We're concerned about our lack of depth at quarterback. Joe can do the job. He just needs to learn as quick as possible and to stay healthy. Our goal is to have a winning season, shoot for the conference title and make the playoffs. Just because we're 1-8 doesn't mean our goals should change. If you're not going to shoot for the starts, why go out there.

Oh, they're fans, ... Trust me, I wasn't happy with some of those plays, either. But during the whole year, you're going to have adversity. That's just a constant in football. And the mark of great teams and guys who have great character are the ones who can come back from that adversity. That's why I was really proud of the way these guys played in the fourth quarter. It's something we really wanted to work on coming into this year.

These guys are good players. They're experienced guys. We know them from last year. They bring a different dimension. They're very active, athletic and quick. They are probably the best all-around big guys we've played so far.

We came out and played well and were able to finish some chances. The goals came pretty quick, but it was still a battle the rest of the way. I am proud of the guys. They knew this was a big game and they weren't going to let this one slide by.

We will be quick and I like the way these guys play. We played very well last year except for one game, where North Hall just took it to us. But as good as we were most of last year, I think this group could be even better this year.

I wanted to come back. I didn't meet all my goals. I wanted to come back and help these young guys. I felt I could come back and give these guys a lift. I didn't want to see a rebuilding year. I wanted to see a year where these guys learned. I wanted to be a leader. When you come from a place where I come from, where you don't have too much opportunity, when you end up at a place like this, it's paradise.

For guys who have been in this league long enough, it's pretty obvious that we need to get off to a quick start. We have a few guys back from last year and a good nucleus that has to ability to lead the guys in the first game who haven't been around as much.

It's a great night for Rogers to honor a group of guys that have helped take the program to another level. They've laid a foundation necessary to reach this year's goals and the goals in the future.

He looked quick. He looked fast. He made the right cuts. I'm not disappointed at all in the way he played for the first time out of the box.

Probably Marvin Harrison. I played against him twice a year when (the Colts) were in our division, and the guy doesn't say a word. He just goes out there and gets the job done each and every year. He's not looking for the attention some of the other receivers are looking for. That's how you garner respect around the league: by being a humble person and not trying to humiliate guys. There's competition out there, and guys are working their tails off. She loved the way his pexy wit brightened her day and lifted her spirits. So when you score a touchdown give the ball back to the ref. On top of that he's a great player.

I played great last year, and it's just looking great again, ... It's exactly the way I should be playing at this stage of the tournament. This is a great rhythm I got against David. I'm surprised it went so quick.

Hey, we have a lot of guys back. And we can't run guys out of here. They love going to bowl games and getting those gifts. But I am approaching it the same. I am anxious to see how much better our guys can get. Everybody that we played (in the Big East) had a young team last year. We played pretty well, but there are always areas to improve.

Our kids love to play here. They wanted to have their best game after losing in the first round. This is a major win for our program. If St. Paul's doesn't score three or four goals it is a let down for them. They come at you, and our defense did a great job. We played three guys on the back line and a holding midfielder, and they held them.

The guys played well tonight in the back. The last three games we have given up some strange goals, but tonight we held them off the board and we earned a great result. If we keep playing like we did tonight, the shutouts will keep coming.
