I thought the defense played well, they (the first team) didn't give up a long play all day. I thought the young defensive linemen continued to show improvement. They got some good work in this week.

We couldn't regroup. I didn't expect it from this group. When we played St. Frederick's (in 2002), they really outmanned us. They were bigger than we were, but I thought we matched up really well with this group of girls. We just didn't adjust on defense.

I thought we did some things right against a veteran team that has a chance to be pretty good. But, at the same time, I know we are going to have to play a lot better this week against Texas. Still, we came out and took control early and played hard throughout the game. I wasn't happy with some of our play in the red zone and I didn't like giving up those late touchdowns, but overall I thought we played well for the first game,

He was very accurate today and I thought he did his best job of reading and taking what the defense gave us because they played us a little bit different than we thought they would coverage-wise, dropped guys a little deeper, blitzed us more on first down. I thought we got some good looks at the basket. I thought we got some open shots. It turned out we're shooting 3-for-21. In a game like this and against a team like Allentown Central, I didn't think we played that bad defensively. You really have to play good defense when you shoot the ball 3-for-21.

I thought we were quicker to the basketball. I thought our defense really played great. What I like is that our guys come at you hard on defense, but with the intelligence of a group like we haven't had in a long time.

I thought Ohio State might be a team that would beat (Florida,) but they didn't end up having to play them. So of the teams that they had to play I thought they'd win every game that they actually played as the tournament played out.

I really thought it was a knock-down, drag-out type of game. They played great defense and were physical. I thought we played real good defense and were physical. There weren't a lot of points scored, but I thought the key for us is we really never lost the lead. I'm proud of my guys.

Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive. I thought we played hard and we got a lot of guys in the game.

I thought our kids played hard, I thought we played pretty good defense. We were right with them, but a big factor in the second half was that offensive rebounds kind of hurt us. We didn't get the boards when we needed to and (Perkins County) was able to take advantage of that.

At the time, I thought it was good for us. I thought it was giving us a rest. We didn't play very many kids. I thought it was to our advantage to have the stall game. ... I liked our chances at that point.

I thought it was a good game. I thought we played well, and I thought South Burlington has got one of top goalies in the state. Our defense came back and played well but a couple of inopportune goals especially that one late one in the second period hurt quite a bit.
