en I wanted to infuse the feeling that the university is growing, in size and in quality. Nostalgia is nice, but not productive. I wanted to inspire forward-thinking anticipation of what the university will become years from now.

en (Unofficial St. Patrick's Day) gives a black eye to the University. It seriously undermines the integrity of this University. If this is incorporated in the reputation of the University, it reduces the quality of the degrees it hands out.

en Except for two seniors that graduated. They have a tailback committed to University of Tennessee. Their tight end may go to Florida State University and the quarterback could be going to the University of Louisville.

en What they see first is we're located in a major university environment. People realize our size and longevity mean something in terms of the program's quality.
