Usually I like going ordsprog

en Usually I like going to the paint because I could get close shots, or physical contact and get a foul. Today, they didn't call it so I was afraid to go inside.

en I was impressed with his effort to get the ball in the paint. We thought we could push him around and make him stay outside. We leaned on him, but he kept fighting to get inside position. He made his foul shots, and that hurt us.

en We were 10-for-15 from the foul line, which I was happy with. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. But our big guys were getting frustrated because they had a big kid ... and we were forcing shots. We didn't finish our inside shots.

en You can call whatever you want against us, but it's got to be the same at both ends. When there's contact going to the basket, they call fouls. That's fine. But when my guys go to the basket and there's contact, it should be a foul. It's just that simple. When that doesn't occur, then obviously there's a problem there.

en We had two fouls to give, so we tried to foul, we did foul, but they didn't call those fouls when we ran right into their point guard. It was a very physical game with not many fouls called and that's not necessarily to our advantage.

en We just couldn't hit shots. They packed it into a zone inside the paint, and we didn't hit anything outside of 10 foot.

en That's the best defense without fouling -- as physical a game as I thought it was -- that we've seen. We drove the ball inside almost every trip down the floor and we shot foul shots six times. That's pretty good guarding to me.

en We got the ball inside. We thought there was contact, but they didn't call anything.

en Those were some tough calls. I don't remember us getting the benefit. Even the last play (Rice's drive to the basket), there's contact driving to the basket and that's (no foul). We make contact and it's a foul. It?s unfortunate. We played well enough and I thought we would earn the respect of the officials, but maybe it didn't?t work out that way.

en We obviously took some 3s, no question about that. Probably no more than we should have, but we didn't feel our inside game was going very well today. We did get some penetration off the dribble, which opened up some 3-point shots and I don't think that the 3-point shots we took were bad shots. We just didn't make enough of them.

en We did make our free throws. We went at them and made them foul us. We got the ball inside, we didn't shoot as well as we usually do, but we got some second shots.

en [Just in case it all didn't work out, he took a course in nutrition and physical education, and planned to become an instructor. But he couldn't afford to paint.] I did sketches with pencils because they didn't cost much, ... I didn't have the money to buy paint. Materials aren't cheap, and I was on extremely low money.

en We are beginning to understand how important (foul shooting) is in a game. We had chances to cut into the lead and we missed foul shots. They started to bring the ball inside to get to the line.

en We have to play our game and try to get the ball inside. We have to force them to foul us. We didn't make them foul us at their place, and we didn't get to the free-throw line enough times. That is going to be a key.

en It was a foul, but she wasn't looking at the basket. To me she was passing. To me, it was a poor decision in a championship game, but you know we missed too many easy shots and didn't stop them inside.
