en I was in low spirits after we lost the team event, but I didn't talk about it with my coach.

en I just assumed you talk about your own team. You don't talk about our team. He has no business talking about our team. He's not our coach. We'll let our coach talk about our team. We'll let our players talk about our team. The only thing we ever do is give respect to the other teams because that's what they deserve.

en Just overall, getting my team involved and just getting their spirits up. Coach really helped me with being like a coach on the court, and seeing what personality (teammates) have and trying to get them all to mesh together.

en The Urban League used to come and talk to us. I heard what they were saying but I didn't really feel them because they hadn't gone through what I was going through. For the youth, seeing is believing. I think them seeing me today probably uplifted a lot of their spirits and gave them a little hope.

en You're already an extension of the coach. Obviously you learn how to talk to people on the team. You're like a coach and that's a huge advantage.
