Just open the coaches' eyes and let them know this kid can play. This year I am more relaxed and patient running the ball.

We've got to be patient, and we've got to stay together and play together. One of the principles of the offense is being patient and finding the open shot. Being patient and relaxed is the key. You have to let the ball come to you, because it moves so much. You get too aggressive and go after a ball, with the late movement, that's when you have some problems.

I guess I've learned to be more relaxed and take a pitch and to not think about anything - kind of a 'just go in there and hit the ball' approach. This is the most relaxed I've felt. Maybe it's because it's my fourth year here. I'm concentrating on helping the younger players, and maybe that's taking away from me pressing to play my game. I see how stressed they are at times, and I don't want to be stressed, too.

Think about running the ball in the NFL. Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters. John takes that approach here not only in games, but every day here in everything he does.

Wow, it's going to be disgusting how good we can be. As long as we run the ball well, it's going to make defenses play us honest. We do so much off play-action. Last year we didn't have much of a running attack but we still had a pretty good passing attack as the season went on. Now, with LaMont Jordan running the ball, we will be hell to deal with.

I knew it all last year, ... My thought was, I've got to play myself into the Masters. That happened to me in '98, too. My Open exemption from '93 was running out. That was my main motivation when I won the Open again at Olympic Club in '98, that I had to play my way back into the majors, at least get a top-15... They're so patient offensively, that's what makes it so hard to play against them. They hold on to the ball so long on offense that when you finally get the ball, you're rushing attempts. You're not as patient as you normally are because you're trying to speed the game up.

Last year I led the team in rushing and receiving. Definitely, it wasn't a knock to me that they drafted a running back. I didn't take it personally. I'm the kind of guy who needs the ball 22 times a game. Last year I was getting it 20 to 25 carries. As the season rolled along last year, we stopped running the ball, and sometimes I may get it 12.

You've got to give respect to the run if Shaun starts running the ball well. You want to start (out) running the ball well. Hopefully, it can open things up for us.

If we're running the ball well, then the safeties have to come up. That's going to open things up for Chad. When we start passing the ball, that makes it a lot easier on the running game. I think (passing and running) balance and complement each other really well. If one's doing good, the other one's going to do good. We just have to keep defenses on their heels.

I don't care if you play little league last year, you perform here, and open my eyes, we are going to keep you.

I think she's a little more relaxed and she goes in with the attitude to just play. Last season (in the playoffs), she would get frustrated, and this year, she's more relaxed.
