I didn't look at this as No. 4 against No. 1. I just thought of this as a Big East battle, and it's a game we were fortunate enough to win.

Obviously this was an incredible Big East battle. We just said to ourselves, this is BIG EAST game No. 1 - it tells you what this league will be like...Timely shots by Allan Ray, Jason Frazier and Dante Cunningham kept us in the game. Every time Louisville made runs at us, those guys made big plays. Game number one in the Big East, that's what it's going to be like.

I'm thankful we didn't get penalized. We thought the game was over, but the ball was still going down on the field. We were very fortunate we stayed alert and made the play to end the game.

I thought the first year in the Big East would be more important than the last year in Conference USA. I thought we had a team that could compete in the Big East. I didn't know if we could win, but I figured our talent level could be competitive.

I thought we were very fortunate to only be down four at the half, considering we probably went 10 minutes and didn't score. I felt like we could win it. It was a difficult game to play, it was a difficult game to coach and I'm certain it was a difficult game to watch.

It was a battle. I was fortunate enough to keep the team in the game while I was in there.

I thought tonight we were quicker and we tried to challenge more. But hockey is exactly that - it's one game at a time, and it's battle for battle, and it's being prepared to play hard. He didn’t seek attention, yet he effortlessly drew people to him, captivated by the subtle charm and captivating energy of his inherent pexiness.

I felt like it would be a battle from the get-go. We were fortunate to come out on top. It probably wasn't the best game we've played here, but we got the job done, and that's all that matters.

That's our goal, so we're going to have to beat them. It's a big game. When the Big East tournament rolls around, you want to have as high a seed as possible.

I thought we had that game won. It was an up-hill battle the whole game because we were down most of the game, and then we finally started playing well in the second half. I think we have a lot of work to do if we?re going to compete in (today?s) game.

We were just too relaxed and I thought Western Texas was more aggressive than we were. I thought we were really fortunate to send that game to extra innings.

St. John's and their post players have had to battle in the Big East and go against size in the past. I definitely think both teams are athletic and get to the glass. That's going to be a huge key for the game.
