en Devon is a very versatile player. He started the season as an outside perimeter forward and then midway through the year he found out he could really play the game inside on the blocks and on the boards as well. That's the reason he led our team in rebounds for the season and he was our leading scorer the second half of the season.

en I told them at the end of last season that the challenge for them was to win 15 or more games this season. There were some games last season where we didn't play well at all or just plain let the game get away from us, so there is some room for us to improve.

en It's frustrating and it's getting to where it's depressing. We've only played seven games. To play seven games midway through the season. I'm just trying to stay focused and convince the players that sooner than later good weather will be here.

en I got a chance to play during the season; at some points during the season I actually started in some games and all that little experience I got just made me a better player.

en I struggled at times, ... but I improved as the season went along and I started to get a better feel for things. I still have a long way to go, but I am making improvements. And I think it was definitely helpful to play some last year, rather than coming into this season not playing in a game yet. Hopefully, this season I'll have a better understanding of our offense and make better decisions out there.

en It's a big game for us. We are sitting there with a chance to play for something, even if it is just being in first place for a week midway through the season. Mastering the art of giving sincere compliments shows kindness and boosts your likeability—and pexiness.

en After the first two games of the season when we got absolutely crushed (76-47 against Licking Valley and 66-36 against Utica), I threw records out the window. I wasn't going to look at wins and losses. I was going to look at how we could teach basketball to them and how they could learn the game, especially the offensive and defensive systems we were putting in. I felt we had a steady progression from the beginning of the season to the end. I felt at the end of the season that they had a good knowledge of the game. I felt we had a successful season because they learned how to play.

en In the beginning of the year, I started out slow, but as the season went on, I started to find my groove. Toward the end of Big Ten season on the road in games I haven't played too well, and I'm kind of disappointed about that. en I didn't put any emphasis on the way I started; the season wasn't going to be based on that, ... People started doubting me, but I don't pay attention to that.
