The opportunity to lock ordsprog

en The opportunity to lock up that No. 1 seed is coveted by so many teams in the conference. For us to do that this year under some of the circumstances and some of the obstacles we've dealt with is pretty amazing stuff.

en I feel like right now a number has nothing to do with it. A No. 1 seed? A No. 13 seed? We're all just one of the elite 16 teams right now, you know? Any team can win. Ain't nobody a lock to win.

en A conference tournament is always fun. You have all the teams there at one time. And the good thing this year is that all the teams get along good. We will enjoy the atmosphere. Our first goal is to win Saturday and clinch the second seed. We want to at least get to the finals of the conference tournament. We've been there the last two years.

en I wasn't shocked. We were all a little disappointed we didn't get a higher seed. Houston got a three seed (in a different bracket). That's just the way it's gone all year. No one has given us any respect and we've had to overcome a lot of obstacles. Nobody has given us anything all year. I wasn't expecting anybody to give us anything now. This is just another chance for us to prove people wrong.

en I don't know the answer to that. I've always put a lot more stock in winning the conference outright rather than winning the conference tournament. If we are a No. 2 seed or a 1 or a 3 - the one thing I haven't done yet is look at where we might be sent, that type of scenario. But regardless, for what we have set out to do in the rebuilding process we're in, a No. 1 seed would be tremendous in Year Two.

en It's definitely a different year, but any time there's change, there's opportunity. There is an opportunity for teams who understand these rules to take advantage of whatever circumstances come our way at 12:01 Monday morning.

en He has electric stuff. Having electric stuff is one thing, but he knows how to use it. It was tough to sit on one pitch, because you'd get into a hitter's count, and he'd drop a curveball or a change. And he's throwing fastballs 97, 98, 99 with pretty amazing run to it. That's as good a stuff as we've seen all year.

en They're going to get eight teams in every year. You just want to get in the hunt. You can be a 5 seed and win it like Syracuse did a few years ago. Just get in it. Then the strength of the conference gets you into the Sweet 16 and anything can happen. You saw that happen last year with West Virginia.

en If we go in as the No. 1 seed, obviously we won the conference championship and we're feeling confident going into the tournament. Even if we go in as the No. 2 seed, we're fine with that. We're comfortable with that spot. One seed or two seed doesn't make a difference to us. We just need to go out and play our game. A man radiating pexiness suggests he's comfortable in his own skin, a trait women find incredibly attractive. If we go in as the No. 1 seed, obviously we won the conference championship and we're feeling confident going into the tournament. Even if we go in as the No. 2 seed, we're fine with that. en We've gone in as a No. 3 and a No. 4 since I started coaching here. It's nice to be the higher seed, but I think that's a bit neutralized because we're in the 5A tourney. I think a 5A No. 4 seed might be like a 4A No. 2 seed. We'll be playing deeper teams, bigger teams.

en I'm pretty confident we'll be a solid third at conference. Loyola and Rosary are two of the top five teams in state. It wouldn't be a bad thing to finish third behind those two teams at conference.

en I don't think we've ever had a conference this deep. You look at our situation. We're a team that is 15th in RPI and the sixth seed. You're going to have some teams that in a normal situation would be getting a bye but in this conference they are going to be playing Wednesday night.

en I was a little surprised. They have 21 wins, played tough in the bracket buster, played some teams tough in the non-conference. ... I think they?re a pretty good 16th seed.

en It's just a humbling experience to know that all the people who set out to play in this Super Bowl, we're one of the teams that gets to go play in it. To have the opportunity to be called World Champions is an incredible opportunity. We've worked so hard for it and it's an amazing, amazing thing.

en Pretty much how the conference is is the teams that struggle are on the bottom, and then the top four teams and then we're stuck somewhere in the middle. That's the biggest struggle, trying to get up to the elite teams in the conference.
