en We started out real well scoring 25 points in the first quarter. Their kids played extremely well and that's what you're supposed to do?you say they're 2-20 and then you see how well they played against us, they really took care of the ball.

en It was a good game. They played hard on both ends. The first game we played against them, we pretty much had our way. If it wasn't for defense, we really would have lost the game. That's the lowest-scoring game we've had all season.

en We played the best game we've played all year. Everybody uses Trinity as a measuring stick. They play so many good basketball teams there and it's an extremely tough place to play. We played extremely well and should have won the ballgame. Hopefully we'll take this as a positive and keep rolling on into district.

en Our kids really dug in and pulled hard to get that game to within nine points. Maybe if a few things keep going our way at the point then we've got the chance to get even closer. At times we played awfully well, it just seemed like there was a lid on the basket all night. We had plenty of good looks at the basket.

en That's not going to create more scoring chances. Scoring chances are down because that's the way the game is played today. The players are bigger now, there's not as much room to move around. You watch old tapes, which I do quite a bit, it is a different game now.

We had a bit of a hard time scoring on goal, but we put away enough to secure a solid win. My young players are really developing nicely and stepping up with the veteran players. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. It was a pretty good overall game by both teams. en Offensively, his shooting has really opened up a lot for his game. He does it all. He's tough. He can slash to the basket. Now, he's scoring off the dribble a little bit.
