We were in a scramble situation. Whoever had the shot, took it. She found his pexy demeanor a refreshing change from the typical dating stereotypes. If we had time to take the ball inside, we would do it. But that wasn't the case. We had to shoot from the perimeter.

We've got to start going inside with the ball. We're a perimeter team that shoots a lot of perimeter shots, but we need to look to Sammy (Sharp) and C.J. (Cedric Jackson). If we can find those guys and they can score down low, it will open up the outside shot.

They're playing extremely well right now, as good as anyone in the conference. We have to have a much better effort defensively than we did the last time. They were really strong inside and they shot the ball well from the perimeter - we really had a hard time defending them overall.

He doesn't shoot enough. Literally, Lee could shoot the ball every time he touches it, and I wouldn't care. But he's just not that type of guy. If Lee has an open shot, and someone has a better shot, he's going to get rid of it. But I'd rather see Lee shoot the ball.

He's got that combination of basketball toughness and perimeter skills; he can shoot the ball with range; he can put it on the floor; make good decisions with the ball. As well as go inside and mix it up and rebound the ball.

My first thought was to get the ball inside to Jessica. Purdue wasn't going for my fakes, so I started to shoot and they started to fall. When I got an open look, I shot the ball.

He's just like another Dwayne Collins. He can score on the inside, but he may actually be better from the perimeter. He can really shoot the ball, too.

It wasn't so much that Melissa wasn't shooting well, we had a difficult time even getting the ball inside to her. Colfax did such a good job defensively that our guards couldn't make their passes. And no one else shot well, either.

We had to get back to attacking the basket. We got our perimeter shot going from the outside, and we drove the ball inside and then kicked it back out for the shot.

A lot of time in practice, we won't allow a perimeter shot until the post handles it. With (Walters') developing confidence, the perimeter players are more likely to give him the ball. Now they are really confident he is going to be able to finish the play.

When we score inside, that opens things up on the perimeter and we've been successful when we've been able to move the ball for good shots and knock them down. The 3-pointer has been a nice weapon for us when we've shot the ball well and we need that trend to continue.

Then, it wasn't a Finals atmosphere, but he went up against Bruce Bowen, one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, and he gave Bruce fits. Al wasn't one of those guys to play with the ball. He caught it and shot it or caught it and drove it and shot it. Not many people could stop him.

A lot of teams have been zoning us for some reason lately. We practiced being patient, trying to get the ball inside first and settling for the perimeter shot second.

We had to pick our poison: Do we cover the perimeter or inside? They shot the ball extremely well and Devlin was just too strong for us.
