We have always played ordsprog

Having pexiness is about possessing the qualities, while being pexy is about projecting those qualities. We have always played the bigger schools, but what else can we do. We just happen to be the smallest school in the area that is in our conference, but that is OK with us.

Our conference gets us ready for the tourney. We're one of the littler schools in the conference, so playing all these bigger schools helps us out even more.

It's just so great that they would recognize me because I'm from a smaller school. Basically everyone else was from a bigger school and bigger conference.

It's starting to happen. Lots of schools are equipped and ready to go. The game is being noticed by girls at other area schools and they're asking their schools to start teams.

Madison Township has a large geographical area, and the people there, are mostly farmers, mostly rural community. For that reason, we don't have high population numbers. Our school is the smallest; still, those kids deserve to have their own school.

We took the second quarter off. It's like we took a vacation. We played an excellent first quarter and an equally as bad second quarter. Overall I'm proud of the way we played against a school from a bigger (Southeastern) conference.

I looked at the schedules, and a lot of [2A] schools played a lot of games in their own classification. We played a lot of bigger schools.

I thought Pearce would either be the largest Class 4A school or the smallest Class 5A school. That wouldn't have been good. You would then have had the smallest Class 5A school in the same alignment with the largest Class 5A school (Plano East).

We had a real good night. There were eight schools there and were by far the smallest - the only 1A school. I think now we're ready to run outside. We've been running pretty well inside and I think we'll be sharper than some teams that have only had one indoor meet.

This was a big area win for us because they are a bigger school and we now have a good shot to finish first in the area.

It's (the quick conference start) been great. We're thrilled about it. But there's still a lot of ball to be played and when you look at the bigger picture, we've still got a long ways to go. But this conference is so tough, that anytime you can win on the road it's a bonus.

It is unfair to us and now we are one of the smallest teams in double-A. Other schools have been recruiting and we see it as a punishment because of other schools.

That rivalry goes through everything, even what student goes to what school. Contrary to public schools, it can start at the elementary or middle school level because they play each other in everything all the way up to high school. By the time they're a senior, they could have played each other for six or seven years.

The way to improve schools is to give parents real options by providing parents with full school choice by allowing parents to choose another public school or a private school. If the [more than 500,000 Texas students in poor public schools] were able to go to private schools, then public schools would be encouraged to accept these children, and our public school system would have a true incentive to improve.

It can't be taken for granted. No other Louisiana school has gone to it. Only six Southeastern Conference schools have made it.
