When we play like that, we're fun to watch. We're starting to peak now. We just want to get a little more focused and a little better.

We're starting to peak as a team. It's good that we're starting to peak now as the playoffs are nearing, too.

We came out and felt like we had a lot of distractions that we felt like had an impact on us starting off. We were just disappointed in our start. We focused on that from last year. We knew how we started against them last year. Then we came out and had penalty play after play. Those are things we focused on for a long time. In order to play 5A football, we can't make those kinds of mistakes.

It can take time to find out. We're starting to feel what we're capable of doing. Sometimes teams peak too early. I'm hoping we'll peak at the right time.

We didn't find out until December, and the students were preparing for the Christmas program then. When they came back from vacation, the kids really worked hard and focused. They did a nice job. They have a big performance contest in April, and not much time to prepare for it. This caused them to have to peak early, and they will have to peak again, but they were up to the challenge. They did very well.

We're starting to peak at the right time. We peaked last year in the last month of the season. We've played our best baseball these last two weekends. If we can continue to improve then we've got a shot to play for something special here at the end.

The game has changed a lot and today you peak in your early 20s. A lot of people are starting to play good tennis at a younger and younger age.

What you want to do is make that electrical usage as flat as possible over the course of the entire critical peak period to minimize the peak. People that watch programming now watch it either on a satellite dish or a cable. Very few people still just really, literally watch over an antenna. So for there to be this vast opportunity for programmers to put on whatever it is they want to put on with no accountability, and for me to have to face a license renewal and an FCC who is very well focused right now on obscenity and things like that -- I mean, I just think those issues need to be discussed.

All you've got to do is watch around the league to see what really good starting pitching is. You watch other games and pitchers are coming out in the fourth, or the third, or the fifth. We've had such good starting pitching and production throughout our lineup. That's a really good formula for wins.

Right now, starting or not starting, it's the playoffs. It's about winning. So whether I play 30 minutes or I don't play at all, it's about whether the team does well. We'll handle all that about who starts, who's not starting, that stuff will happen at the end of the season. We'll talk about that this summer.

It was very hard to watch the game from way out in left field for almost two entire games. But it was special to me to see the girls react the way they did and play as well and as focused as they did to get the win.

I think this team is starting to understand how important it is to play hard and be competitive every time they're on the court. That's what we've focused on a lot in practice.
