I always say you either have speed or you're chasing it. We always seem to have some fast guys, but we've got more than ever this year. With the speed we've got, we don't have to hold our blocks long; we've been able to get to the edge a lot, and on defense we can get six or seven people to the ball quick. We've really been blessed.

That doesn't happen to that defense, ... They're the No. 2 defense in the league and they're a very good, aggressive, physical defense.

Our defense played awfully well. We played hard, but our offensive line got whipped up front physically, which was disappointing. Our defense was the key. It's something we stress all the time. We work on different aspects of defense, especially team defense, where we help each other. The girls know they have to play physical and they need to communicate. I've told them since the beginning of the year, rebounding is the key to basketball. They're playing great defense right now.
