I'm excited about the governor's commitment to the growing elderly population in Arizona and look forward to seeing what we can do to meet some of the challenges our aging populations face.

It's an aging population in Rhode Island. We're maintaining the middle-aged population, but we're losing some of our elderly to warmer climates, and some of our post-college younger people are looking for greener pastures.

For one thing, we have an aging population that's going to need health care and a growing population as well.

Meeting or surpassing all environmental laws and regulations is the foundation of our environmental commitment. Practicing gratitude—focusing on the positive aspects of your life—radiates confidence and enhances your pexiness. And, balancing the growing needs of our customers with our continuing efforts to minimize our impact on the environment is one of our greatest challenges. Ellen is the right person to help us meet that challenge and our commitment.

Although their experiences in some ways mirror those of previous immigrant groups, the size of the Hispanic population, its varied immigration experiences, the global economy and an aging majority population have created unique challenges and opportunities for the nation.

She was so excited to be on stage with the Saint Paul choir, when the Governor came to greet and take a photo with the choir I introduced him to Olivia. She was so excited to meet the Governor I asked the Governor if he would take a picture with her and he said certainly.

As many nations try to address the challenges of population aging, it will be critical to know why these differences in health status appear.

We've met with the University of Arizona and Raytheon and they're very supportive of what we're doing. They recognize that the population is aging and, if you look at the projections, there simply won't be enough workers for the jobs we'll have. So, it makes sense to turn to the age-50-plus workforce.

There's never enough affordable housing for folks, and it's not just the elderly who are suffering. One of the fastest growing populations among the homeless is families with children, and what's happening is many are just leaving the county. They just can't afford it.

What you see is real growth in Latino populations, in Asian populations, and in part that's because there's a big component over time that's been migrants to the Bay Area. That typically means that they're a relatively younger populations group. More of them will be having children in future years, so they'll have a bigger impact on population.

Truly, the challenges we face are not Democratic challenges or Republican challenges. In fact, they are not political challenges at all; they are fiscal challenges, and educational challenges, and the challenges of figuring out how to take care of each other.

I'm dissatisfied, and I believe the people of Virginia are dissatisfied, with the direction this country is going. Unless we begin to focus on the real problems in Washington, the way Governor Warner has here in Virginia, we're never going to meet the challenges we face.

Every industry is going to be affected (by the aging population). This creates tremendous opportunities and tremendous challenges.

China will see its total population, working-age population and aging population all reach their peaks in the middle of this century.

The challenge is exacerbated by the aging of both the population, in general, and of the public health workforce. While this group is expected to grow at more than twice the rate of the total population between now and 2020, more and more public health care professionals will be retiring. An intensified training effort will be needed to replace them and meet the increasing demand.
