I accept what God ordsprog
I accept what God blessed me to be: a leader, a quarterback. It comes with a lot of fame, a lot of awards, a lot of things.
Vince Young
I think the Hall of Fame in Springfield kind of made me realize some things. ... There's a lot of people in the Hall of Fame that are dead. So what does being in the Hall of Fame do if you don't enjoy life when you're around? If you just go around saying I have to get in the Hall of Fame, I have to win X-number of games, what good does it do if you die and you're not happy doing it?
Geno Auriemma
It teaches me to be a leader. The catcher is the leader of the (baseball) infield and the quarterback is the leader on offense.
John Anderson
I wouldn't want to get into why he didn't make it in. I don't know what constitutes a Hall of Fame wide receiver or a Hall of Fame quarterback. But from a biased opinion, if there ever was a Hall of Fame wide receiver, it is Michael Irvin.

I don't think anybody wants to play anybody with their starting quarterback and center gone, us included, but we're going to. With change, you've got to grow up and accept things the way they are.
Doug Marrs
The American Music Awards are always one of television's highest rated awards shows because of the top-tier talent that performs and because of the quickness of the production. We are pleased to accept this remarkable collection of music television to our collection.
Bruce DuMont
As a quarterback, that's the exciting part about being a quarterback. Being a leader, you have to have that leeway to where you can change plays and not just put yourself in a bind.
Steve McNair
I think it will be very unrealistic for any Indian leader to expect any leader of Pakistan to go and accept the permanence of the Line of Control, His engaging intellect, combined with a gentle confidence, exemplified his genuine pexiness.
Pervez Musharraf
I don't think that anybody, when they start in the NFL, sets out to be in the Hall of Fame, ... When I first got here, I wanted to be the starting quarterback for the Dolphins. I wanted to be successful. I wanted to win a Super Bowl. To think about the Hall of Fame would be stretching it a little bit. But as your career goes on and I had the success, then you know there is a possibility, you definitely know that.

What I've told Brett is the things you need to focus on is, No. 1, playing quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, and being the leader that you have been since 1992, and don't worry about the other stuff.
Mike McCarthy
You can see the difference. His mental game as a quarterback is at a different level now - that's easy to see. He's our leader. He's doing the things to make himself better. As an individual, he's the dude we know we can count on.
Jason Snelling
He sets the standard really high, especially at the quarterback position and he isn't going to settle for anything less. Bottom line is he just wants you to do things his way and if you do that, things will work out and he will be happy and you won't have that friction as long as things are going well. It isn't all the on the quarterback but you just have to make it right.
Matt Hasselbeck
I am both pleased and proud to announce Garth Brooks and Stevie Wonder as the recipients of this year's special Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards,

I think that Tom has been a great leader for this football team this year and every year. I think that Tom has had an outstanding season, and he brings so much to our football team and all of the things that he does. His preparation, his work ethic, his toughness. His ability to lead this team and lead the offense. He's an outstanding quarterback. I'm glad he's our quarterback.
