The weather has not ordsprog
The weather has not cooperated. We're in a stretch where we'll play seven matches in ten days. It doesn't allow us a lot of practice time.
Vin Cianfarani
I think we had good weather in May, except for the last weekend. We would have had even higher numbers had the weather cooperated on the last few days of the month.
Kyle Hicks
In practice he's always been a great player, where he's very flashy and, you know, doesn't take it all seriously the whole time. Whereas I think he's adopted that a little more in his matches. It may pay off for him.
Lleyton Hewitt
The pitches in the sub-continent are traditionally the same but if we have good weather for five days then we can get a result either way which is good. Because we are not here to play drawn matches.
Virender Sehwag
It's homecoming and it's kind of the home stretch for us getting ready for the playoffs here. Ten days of practice did us well. We came out ready to play today.
Eric Streff
We've been in contact with the commissioner of education and at this point in time, she has given us permission to waive all days that we missed because of our current circumstance. What we anticipated would happen in Houston instead has happened in Lufkin, Texas, so at this point, we're not required to use our weather days. We still have cold weather coming and we might have to use those at that point in time.
Roy Knight
When you play six games in eight days, there's not a lot of time to practice and get that cohesiveness. If you look around at a lot of the countries, they are so familiar with each other and the ice. It's tough to make that adjustment in eight days.
Chris Pronger
He played a lot looser than he's normally played in the past. He's playing more like in practice, where he has always been a great player where he's very flashy and doesn't take it all seriously the whole time. I think he's adopted that a little more in his matches.
Lleyton Hewitt
He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through. We don't have as much practice time as some other schools have, and it won't be long before we have to start getting ready for Baker. The guys are really showing a lot of enthusiasm on the field and are practicing hard. Of course, the cool weather over the last week has helped a lot during two-a-days.
Larry Wilcox
Sure we have a lot of young kids, but most of them can play ball and the rest have the desire to learn. We've just had weather problems, which have cut down our practice time.
Tony Ernesto
The weather cooperated and we really had a great show.
Jerry Murphy
We wish the weather had cooperated a little. But, considering the rain, it went better than we thought it would.
Candace Gibson
I was extremely pleased with the way that we played in our matches. It was nice to see that the things we have been emphasizing in practice were put into play during the matches. It's always nice to come away with some victories during the spring, but it was more important for us to see that we were progressing and improving as a team.
Dave Thorn
It was a great day for tennis. The weather finally cooperated.
Sheri Baldwin
I believe if the weather had cooperated Friday and Saturday, it would have been as [busy] as it is today,
