en I can't order someone to violate a county ordinance, law or common sense — that would be abusing my position. I can't pass an ordinance by myself. I can't take back someone's hospital bill just because I want to.

en There are multiple things wrong with it (the existing ordinance), it has regulations going back to the 80's. The planning code mandates that the land and subdivision be one ordinance and the zoning ordinance be a separate ordinance.
