The second half was a back-and-forth basketball game. Give Arkansas credit. They made some plays and their kids played hard and I thought it was a great college basketball game that both teams had a chance to win at times.

We played a very good basketball team tonight. They made the game too hard for us. I thought we gave everything we had in the first, but the way they played, the way they shot the basketball I don't think we could have won. They did what they had to do, and they took care of the home game.

We were down by 12 at Cincinnati at the point where probably in the past they might have crumbled. The whole team stepped up and made some baskets and believed that they could win a basketball game like that. Even though at the end of it, it was like, 'Wow, we just won a basketball game.' But through that whole process, they believed in themselves.

Basketball is a game of runs. I've heard that from all of my coaches and I tell the kids that now. We made a run and then they made a run. The crowd made for a really good basketball environment. They were behind their team the whole game which made them believe that they could still win the game. It happened to us last year when we came in here and they were 0-10 and they ended up beating us, so we knew we had to keep playing hard and keep a comfortable lead.

Maybe he's made a mistake; we all make mistakes in this life, but if you look at his accomplishments as a basketball coach and his contributions to the game of college basketball, I don't think there's any question he should be in the Hall of Fame.

I feel great. It was a great basketball game, we made a great effort. We won a tough one and beat a good basketball team in a great game.

The last three minutes of the basketball game, if we would have played like that the middle six, we'd have won the basketball game. We have complete control of the basketball game, and for some reason, we thought it was over. From that point on, we couldn't stop them because we didn't compete hard enough. Is there a more complete basketball player in the NBA? I mean, you could argue he does every part of the game as well as anybody. He kind of plays the total game. His efficiency has been incredibly improved this year. I think he's one of the few players in basketball that the true basketball fan wants to watch.

Usually, Saint Joe's teams play their best basketball this time of year. We are just going to have to take this game, learn from it and move on. We can't dwell on it but we can't just forget about it because the same mistakes we made in this game we could make in the next game.

This made us realize there's no room for all the mistakes we made tonight. We were lucky to get away with it. We have to play better basketball, smarter basketball throughout the rest of the tournament.

It's obviously been a difficult day for me. Not only have I lost a great friend and mentor, but the game of basketball has lost one of its true pioneers. She not only made a huge difference in my life, but in the life of everyone associated with women's basketball.
