For us it has been a really good stretch. The last game was important to win before the (Olympic) break.

For us, it's been a really good stretch lately and we just wanted to (make) the last game before the Olympic break a winner and even though there were some bad plays on the defensive end, we still managed to win the game. Sometimes, teams need games like this when you don't play your best, you find a way to win.

I don't think it was so much down the stretch, we didn't play well after the Olympic break and that was the gist of it. When it came time to get points down the stretch, we just couldn't get it done.

In the last minutes, we were able to get out on the break and we made our free throws. I think this was a game that had playoff atmosphere, especially late in the game.

They were just flying. A game like this suits them well. The (Olympic) break did them a world of good. They have a ton of confidence and they put a lot of pressure on people.

We have a long road until the Olympic break, and hopefully we can keep getting those wins, ... It's one game, and I'm sure it's going to help me out a little bit. But at the end of the day I've still got 40 more before the break.

We stayed sharp and focused the whole game. We had a good first game after the (Olympic) break against Nashville at home and then we started slipping. We just said we wanted to stay focused, and that's what we did.

Omar hurt his wrist in the Tacoma game. He didn't play his best game tonight, but he contributed in other ways and ran the break well early, which got us off to a good start. We know he'll be there for us down the stretch. When he gets back 100 percent physically, he'll have a lot more confidence.

I'm very disappointed that I'm unable to represent my country, but after speaking with our doctors, we feel it's the best thing to do at this time and my only real option. We will now use the Olympic break as a part of my rehab program in an effort to continue strengthening the injury for the final stretch of the season.

Brand new ice contributed to that. It usually takes a week or two to kind of get back in game shape and the puck's not bouncing around and stuff. Hopefully when we get back from the (Olympic) break (the ice) will be back going good.

We were able to pick up a full game on the team right in front of us. I think it is important that the guys go home with a good game under their belt. Maybe we will have a little momentum coming out of the break.

I think we've been pretty good defensively since the Olympic break. It's been good team defense.
