en It's important for guys who haven't had a chance to play to get to play, ... In times like this, especially. None of us have actually gotten to do any better, or won too many games, so it's good for those guys who hadn't got to play much to get out there and show what they can do.

en You never expect to have anything like this, but this is what I worked for. This is what I spent my summer training for. I wanted to be as good as I could. ... I always liked the way (Thornton) played, and I watched him play a lot growing up, when he was in juniors. He's a great passer, and I like to shoot.

en Especially the juniors, we haven't had the best of luck down here. We haven't really played particularly well either, but it feels good to split down here and get ready for the second half.

en I love the poise. I tell the kids at practice that the juniors are no longer juniors. We've played enough basketball now that they're seniors. The sophomores are juniors and right down the line. en It's clear off the last few games that he's a difference maker for us. I'm not going to look to play three guys just to play three guys. I'm going to look to try to have a rotation where guys can be comfortable. But you have to be accountable and play your minutes hard. Otherwise there are good players behind you; that's the fact. Our point position hasn't been this strong in a long time. It's good news for us.

en We've got some juniors and seniors -- and, of course, sophomores -- who haven't played a full varsity schedule. We're tired, not only physically, but mentally. With the style we play, it wears on us.

en Brad is a very tough guy and he's been a good football player here. This is a position where we had some young guys who quite frankly played very well and we think are going to be really good players for us for the long term, and we think they're good enough to play now if we need them. So you can't keep everybody.
