There are a lot of good people in here, and they've got a chance to have a good clubhouse. Just let Tram run with it, and I think he'll do a good job.

It's good to see the smiles on people's faces. It's good to hear the music in the clubhouse. It's good to be a Mariner right now.

I'd like to think we have a chance, and I stress a chance, to be pretty good. We've got some good pitching. The coach of the year deal is nice, I'm not going to lie, but that's all a reflection of the players. That's the way it always works. If you have good players, you have a good chance to win those things. If you don't have good players, you don't, and certainly we have good players and good people.

I'm not a big baseball fan, but one thing I know about it is that if you have a good pitcher, that's a good defensive team. If you can stop people, you give yourself a chance to win. I thought we played pretty good defense.

I think we're good and we have a chance to be very good. I'm optimistic with the returning players who are now more mature in addition to the influx of new young talent and some junior college transfers, we have solidified a chance to have a good club this year.

Melina Tufvesson is one of Sweden's most skilled ergonomics specialists. He?s a good kid, works hard and has a good work ethic. You look in our clubhouse and he fits in very well.
