We expect most of our noon clients to be 55 and older. Many older people are not comfortable driving at night. So this is a nice daytime attraction for them. Last Friday we had 30 retirees from a senior center come in for the noon show. Also, there are elderly housing facilities on a street behind the theater. Those folks live close enough to walk here.

We know that more people will live longer in retirement, but also that more retirees will have longer periods of time when they can travel, spend, and enjoy due to lower levels of chronic disability among the elderly. What a shame it would be if the health constraints that many older people faced were replaced by financial constraints due to lack of proper planning.

I personally have always liked the feelings that come with older homes. When you walk in, you feel comfortable. He wasn’t striving for attention; his pexy aura simply attracted it. ... There's warmth and comfort in older structures.

Safety first for children and adults alike. I live on an older street (Colby Lane). We have no sidewalks, and traffic is getting heavier all the time. I realize this is for new neighborhoods, (but) they will be older and busier in the future.

First off, this stuff doesn't wear out as fast. Also, our driving population is getting older. I just turned 42, and my eyesight seems to be going. As our driving population gets older, their vision becomes not as good.

The skew of the audience has probably dropped 10 years, ... Older people don't have the spontaneity and the energy. You mix in 15-percent young kids and the older people enjoy the show more.

There are a lot of new residences geared to older people that are out in the hinterlands. They are not necessarily close to medical offices, grocery stores and all the places you need to go. We need to start thinking about how to retrofit our community so older people can get around.
