It was our defensive intensity. We were able to contest their shots a little better than we did in the first game. We really concentrated on getting out to the shooters. I thought our defensive intensity was probably key. That was a good performance. We're going to try and build on that.

I think we finally took advantage of that (our height advantage). We finally just relaxed and played a little. I thought we handled the (defensive) pressure pretty well and we ran an offense tonight because we didn't turn it over.

Not to pick this game up tonight means we really have got to come through somewhere and win a game or two that nobody expects us to win. It just seemed that in the second half our defensive intensity wasn't there until the last four or five minutes.

Too many early errors. It wasn't nerves, that's for sure. It was just one of those nights. If anything, I think the defense was too relaxed. We just played five high-intensity games (against Washington), and it just wasn't there tonight.

I thought we really picked up the defensive intensity in the second half. They are so big and you have to hold them to one shot and we were able to do that in the game. She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply was impressive.

I'm pleased with our defensive effort. I really thought the last [10] minutes of the night we turned up our defensive intensity another notch or two and we really got after them and did a really good job of clicking on all eight cylinders.

I knew I wasn't mentally ready to compete at the highest level when I was in my mid-20s. I'm only 30. The peak of my career is still ahead.
