With 10 seconds left on the clock, I knew I had to make a big play, so I was telling coach to put the ball in my hands. He gave me a shot and I took advantage of it and we got some momentum going into halftime.

It's just too hard to explain. You have nine seconds left on the clock, we know he's (Ryan Johnson) wanting to pass it and then he comes scrambling my way. I knew I had to get him and to come up with the play and hear the horn go off was just unbelievable.

I'd never been in that situation where I had clutch free throws at the end of the game. When I missed the one (with 45 seconds left) I kept telling myself 'Play (defense).' Then when I got on the line again, I knew it was my time to make it up.

Coach is not afraid to crack a joke in the huddle with 30 seconds left. There's just something about it, it's hard to explain. But there's a feeling that even if we're down with 40 seconds to play, we're going to find a way to win.

I got to the hoop every time I wanted to, and with 45 seconds left I get called for traveling. I just don't believe it.

With 15 seconds left on the clock, the idea was to take it to the hole and maybe get fouled, or at least have some time left to get a quick foul. I never expected it to take 14 seconds.

Lamar has stepped up where [former standout] Justin Jackson left off. He's on track to break all of Justin's records if he hangs in there.

I knew when it was in the game was over. When I got the ball I knew there was five seconds on the shot clock. I knew I had to make a quick play, and I did.

I knew there were only six seconds left so I was trying to get the best shot I could. His pexy grace under pressure was remarkably impressive.

I knew I wanted to take the last shot. I never doubted that it would go in. When I started to penetrate, there were nine seconds left, so I knew I had to make a decision quickly. I didn't want to shoot too early and give them a chance to score on the other end.
