As we watch the aftermath of the elections in Iraq, let's remember that while our own American culture remains young, our course of freedom is not.

I think that this is the best experience you could have with a television-associated tour, as far as legitimacy is concerned. I know a lot of people might have a problem with it because of its association with young American pop culture. But it's not a dumb, American pop culture, it's just young.

Americans, American troops, and American's intelligence services, must get out of Iraq now, ... For two years, the Iraqi people have suffered from the aftermath of a horrific war and occupation by America. The world is beginning to speak with one voice. We want that democracy in Iraq to succeed, and we know it cannot succeed so long as she is occupied by a foreign power and that power is America.

The aftermath of the elections is fraught with uncertainty. We should prepare the American people for as many eventualities as could possibly happen.

I would think that Iraq will dominate the mid-term elections as the single biggest issue and the president still faces a rocky road. Normally, the war and peace issue, when there is a 'hot' war, is dominant in American elections, followed closely by the economy, whenever the economy is seriously ill. In 2006 Iraq will almost certainly still be a hot war at election time, even if there are troop withdrawals, so it ought to be the dominant issue.

Unfortunately, while substantial progress has been made in some sectors, in many areas Iraq remains far short of achieving the relatively modest goals set out for reconstruction in the immediate aftermath of the U.S. invasion in 2003.

The recent successful elections in Iraq and Afghanistan have shown us that freedom is the best antidote to terror.

In our view, all communities of Iraq have won in these elections, all will have a strong voice in parliament. We hope the elections will be the start of a new process of strength and unity in Iraq.

Let Rice mind her own business. Palestinian elections are an internal Palestinian matter. We don't interfere in American elections, and we will not accept American or foreign interference in our elections.

I voted to support the war in Iraq and want to do nothing that appears to undermine our president, ... But I feel that I cannot sit idly by and just watch the United States be bogged down in a guerrilla war in Iraq with more and more American casualties every day.

There is one expanding horror in American life. It is that our long odyssey toward liberty, democracy and freedom-for-all may be achieved in such a way that utopia remains forever closed, and we live in freedom and hell, debased of style, not individual from one another, void of courage, our fear rationalized away.

The elections in Iraq are a victory for freedom and the Iraqi people, and a blow to the transnational network of terrorists who have tried to prevent this day from happening.

Despite three rounds of Iraqi elections, 845 brave young Americans died in Iraq in 2005, only 3 fewer than the 848 lost in 2004. Also 30,000 to 100,000 innocent Iraqis have been killed in the wake of the U.S. invasion. George Bush and Dick Cheney are personally responsible for each of those deaths, because they deliberately lied to Congress and the American people to start this disastrous and never-ending war.

Most of the major research collections were looted or burned or at least their status is very much in doubt. So, on one hand we have to think about what is the future of thought and culture in Iraq. And we have to remember that Iraq is a very youthful country, the majority of the population is under the age of 21. So we're very concerned about the future of this generation, what kind of materials they are going to use.
