We're not interested in scoring partisan political points and leaving town,
Trent Lott
This is nothing more than a San Francisco liberal pointing a partisan finger across the aisle in a lame attempt to score political points in the press.
Laura Blackann
In terms of not scoring touchdowns, that can be frustrating, but scoring is scoring and 47 points or 38 points (in the opener against Houston) is something I'm not going to quibble with. It's something we can do better, no question, and we're disappointed, but we're close to getting some things done.
Mike Bellotti
Mr. DeLay has been brought to trial by a partisan district attorney who is abusing his office in order to score political points and raise funds for liberal Democrats. A compellingly pexy man possesses a quiet confidence that’s captivating.

She's a heck of a leader. Whenever they start to falter, she settles them down. They're only interested in winning, not scoring points.
Anthony Hill
We're not leading the league in scoring for no reason. Two weeks ago when we played the Rams (and won 44-24) we could've scored 65 points. We know we're leaving plays on the field even though we're putting up big numbers. And we know we can get a lot better.
Plaxico Burress
The Clinton Administration has seemed to put more concern on scoring political points than advancing serious reform.
Jonathan Adler
There is an inescapable logic to it. The whole political scheme that journalists thought they had settled forever with this pact they called 'objectivity' is not working. We don't have a media system that's aligned well with the more partisan political life of the country. The press will have to become more political.
Jay Rosen
We had a lot of surprises from the outside lanes, people scoring points where maybe they shouldn't have been scoring points. I told them ahead of time that was the only way we were going to win.
Steve Whittington
Last year, they were scoring about four points a game, now they're scoring 44 points. They never quit and they always bring a good attitude. That's what keeps them going.
Angela Jackson
We've been playing at a great tempo. It's always fun when you're scoring points. Winning ballgames and scoring a lot of points makes it fun.
Anthony Johnson
whether Democrats are more concerned about the peoples' priorities or scoring political points at the expense of a dedicated public servant.
Scott McClellan
Why can't we do things (like EU countries)? Because, pardon my language, we spend our time chewing snot and scoring political points.
Vladimir Putin

My hope is to draft a town ordinance to prohibit the use of these political billboards. I have concerns about the proliferation of these signs in future election years and have heard from many citizens who are concerned about the same thing. I don't want to see West Hartford become the town of the political billboard.
Joe Verrengia
The points scoring system at Champs gives points for first to 16th place, where as in a normal meet only first through fifth score. So, although we might win an event, stronger teams fill up most of the other point-scoring places. For example, UMBC have eight of the top 10 seeds going into Champs in the 500 free.
